Squad → Missions → Story
On the first morning, every camper is sorted into a squad. They stay with that squad for the rest of the week (or the day, for single-day campers).
Each morning blends Nerf battles, squad build projects, and counselor-run missions. Squads earn points, build out their territory, and shape the Battlefield as the week goes on.
Competitive. Creative. Fair.
Everything happens outdoors at our Richmond camp location. All Nerf blasters, foam darts, team gear, and inflatable battle structures are provided.
The Story Evolves Every Day
Each morning begins with a new Battlefield Transmission. New missions are revealed. New challenges emerge.
Squads must adapt their strategy as the story unfolds throughout the week. The decisions your squad makes on Tuesday can influence what happens on Wednesday and Thursday.
Not three mornings of dodgeball. A three-day squad adventure.

Hydrate, regroup, and catch your breath before the next activity.
Squad Build Challenge - Round 2
Back to the workbench. Squads upgrade their forts, finish banners, or engineer new battlefield gear to carry into tomorrow's missions.
Final Water & Cool Down

Your Squad Shapes The Battlefield
Battles are only part of the week. Squads also plan, design, and build - turning their corner of the Battlefield into something the other squads have to reckon with.
Everything a squad builds becomes part of future missions. Some projects defend territory. Some unlock advantages. Some become the focus of the next day's mission.
The Battlefield changes because of the squads inside it.

Nerf Equipment
We have all the Nerf equipment your child will need. If they'd like to bring a Nerf gun from home, it's allowed - but use isn't guaranteed. It's up to the camp counselors to approve each day, dependent on the activity.
If your child brings their own Nerf gun, please:
- 01Only bring Nerf guns that fire normal Nerf darts.
- 02Leave all darts at home - we supply them.
- 03Write your child's name on the blaster.
No Electronics
No phones, tablets, or other electronics during camp activities.
If you'd like your child to have their phone for contact, that's still allowed. That said, we will not allow any screen time at camp, even during lunch or break time. If a child is seen on their phone, they'll be asked to put it away.

Frequently Asked
What ages can attend?
The camp is open to ages 10–14.
When and where is the camp?
Summer 2027, three mornings from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at a Richmond location. Exact dates and site will be announced when enrollment opens in January 2027.
What's the difference between Full Week and Single Day?
Full Camp ($250) includes all three days plus squad progression, evolving missions, team standings, and the championship finale. The drop-in day rate ($100) lets a camper jump into a single day of action.
What's the weather policy?
If a session is canceled before camp begins due to severe weather, campers receive a camp credit for a future NERF BATTLE RVA session.
What should my child bring?
A water bottle, closed-toe shoes, comfortable outdoor clothing, and a snack. We provide everything else - blasters, darts, safety glasses, and team gear.
How do you handle the heat?
Camp runs 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM to avoid the hottest part of the day. We schedule plenty of water breaks and shade time throughout the morning, and counselors watch for any signs a camper needs to cool down.
Who runs the camp?
NERF BATTLE RVA has been running mobile Nerf battles and events across the Richmond area since 2025. Camp is led by our team, with experienced counselors on the field every morning.
Is it safe?
All gameplay is supervised by camp staff. Safety glasses are required during battles. Parent waivers are required.
Can my child bring their own Nerf gun?
Yes, but use is not guaranteed. All blasters must fire standard Nerf darts, and campers must leave their own darts at home (we supply unlimited darts). Camp counselors approve personal blasters each day based on the planned activity. We recommend writing your child's name on their blaster.
Can my child bring electronics to camp?
Phones are allowed for communication only - no screen time at camp, including during breaks or lunch. If a child is seen using their phone, they will be asked to put it away. Tablets and other electronics are not allowed.
