Question 1

What's the best age for a Nerf birthday party?

Accepted Answer

Nerf parties work for ages 5 and up. Ages 5-7 use our lighter Junior Battle Kit with shorter rounds and 1 adult per 4 kids. Ages 7-14 are the sweet spot - they can run games with adult supervision on the field. Teens and adults? They go ALL out. We've even done 40th birthday parties!

Question 2

Can 5-year-olds do a Nerf party?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Ages 5-7 play with our Junior Battle Kit: 8 Elite Strongarms (16 for 16 players), $149 or $249, with the same darts, barriers, fog machine and safety glasses as the regular kits. Plan shorter rounds (about 5 minutes) and 1 adult per 4 kids. Parents decide which loadout fits.

Question 3

How many players can join a birthday party?

Accepted Answer

Our packages support 8 to 16 players. For a typical birthday party, 8-12 players is ideal - enough for exciting team battles without chaos. The Big Battle Kit takes up to 4 extra players at $15 each, for 20 total.

Question 4

How long should a Nerf birthday party be?

Accepted Answer

Most parents plan for 2-3 hours of Nerf action. That's enough time for multiple game modes, water breaks, and cake. You have the equipment all day, so you can play as long as everyone has energy!

Question 5

Do parents need to supervise the games?

Accepted Answer

Yes - this is a self-run rental, so you'll need 1-2 adults to help referee games, reload blasters for younger players, and keep things safe. We provide easy game instructions, but no staff.

Question 6

What space do we need for a birthday party?

Accepted Answer

Most parties work best in a medium to large backyard or open field where kids can run and spread out safely. As a guideline: 8 players need roughly a large backyard, 16 players work best in a bigger yard, field, or park. The inflatable barriers set up quickly and fit any reasonably flat, open space.

Question 7

What types of events can use your equipment?

Accepted Answer

Our rental equipment works great for birthday parties, backyard battles, church youth groups, scout troops, school field days, summer camps, family reunions, team building events, gender reveals, and graduation parties. Any group of 8-16 people looking for outdoor fun!
