Why Backyard Battles Are the Best
Setup Tips for Epic Battles
Choose Your Battlefield
Front yard, backyard, or both - bigger spaces allow for more tactical gameplay. Remove any hazards like garden tools or lawn decorations.
Create Cover Zones
Our inflatable barriers provide tactical cover, but you can also use patio furniture, play structures, or large cardboard boxes.
Set Boundaries
Define the play area clearly - use cones, flags, or natural boundaries like fences and hedges.
Plan for Breaks
Set up a designated safe zone with water, snacks, and shade. Kids get tired and thirsty!
Backyard Game Ideas
Yard Wars
Front yard vs backyard - teams defend their territory
Base Defense
One team defends the deck/patio while others attack
Treasure Hunt
Hide objects around the yard - retrieve without getting hit
King of the Hill
Control the play structure or designated area
Backyard Battle FAQs
How much backyard space do I need?
A standard suburban backyard (30x50 feet) works great for 8 players. Larger yards or combining front and back yards can accommodate 16+ players comfortably.
What about neighbors?
Most neighbors are understanding, especially for birthday parties. Give them a heads up beforehand. Darts occasionally go over fences - kids can retrieve them after the game.
Can we play on the driveway?
Absolutely! Driveways and patios work great. The barriers set up on any flat surface. Just watch for cars and set clear boundaries.
What if it rains?
Move to a covered patio, garage, or reschedule. Reach out and we'll work out a rain date at no extra charge.
