What we like
- Three darts per pump feels big and is fun to fire
- No batteries, so it works straight out of the box on Christmas morning

Watch out for
- Loose supershells are easy to lose in grass, leaves or under the couch
- Reloading shells is slower than a drum or internal cylinder
- Large and heavy for kids under 8
- Three darts per shot burns through ammo fast
Who should get one
It is a great fit for kids 8 and up who want the biggest, loudest looking blaster in the house and play mostly indoors or on a small patio, where shells are easy to find.
For younger kids, a light blaster like the Elite Strongarm is easier to carry and aim. For big outdoor battles, a drum blaster reloads faster and has no loose parts to lose.
