Where to Play Nerf in Richmond: Clubs, Modding Meets and Party Rentals
Richmond has two great ways to get into Nerf. Richmond Nerf Club is the home of the local hobbyist and competitive scene. Nerf Battle RVA rents all-day party kits for families, $149 for 8 players or $249 for 16. Here is who does what, so you land in the right place.
Richmond Nerf Club: the heart of the local scene
If you are into Nerf beyond the toy aisle, Richmond Nerf Club is where you want to be. Run by Stephen Brown, Danny Pak and Joseph Landrum, the club has built a real community of players who show up for the game and stay for the people.
Competitive battle days
Outdoor games at spots like Springfield Park in Glen Allen, with modified blasters often in the 150 to 200+ FPS range and chronographs on hand.
Modding meetups
Hands-on workshops where members tune, swap and customize blasters. Meetups have been held upstairs at the Publix on Staples Mill Road.
Themed community events
Creative game days, including Western-themed battles, that keep the scene fresh for regulars and newcomers.
Giving back
The club has supported the Autism Society Central Virginia through community events.

Planning a kids birthday instead?
High-FPS modded games are a blast for experienced players, but they are not what most parents want at an 8th birthday. That is where we come in. Nerf Battle RVA rents a complete kit with stock blasters, darts, inflatable barriers and a online game guide. You pick it up (or we deliver), run the battle yourself, and keep it all day.
